Jeff Jarrett Appears At GCW Die 4 This

The WWE Hall of Famer shockingly attacked EFFY during the show

If 2021 proved that GCW aren’t afraid of booking shocking surprises, then 2022 has cemented this reputation, as WWE Hall of Famer and former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett made a surprise appearance at GCW Die 4 This, attacking EFFY during EFFY’s State of EFFY address.

After EEFY claimed that “EFFY is fine” the lights went out, as Jarrett - dressed all in black with a stetson - appeared in the ring to deliver a trademark guitar smash over EFFY’s head.

This was Jarrett’s debut appearance for the promotion, and with EFFY fresh from a rivalry with Matt Cardona and with seemingly nothing to do at GCW’s upcoming The WRLD On GCW show, there’s the possibility that the two could do something together at the upcoming Hammerstein Ballroom show on January 23.

Jarrett most recently worked for WWE as a backstage producer and as part of the creative team, but was released in July 2021 due to ‘budget cuts’. Jarrett last wrestled in April 2019, losing to lucha legend Dr. Wagner Jr. at a So-Cal Pro event.
