Jeff Jarrett Returning To The Ring At The Wrld On GCW

Ain't he great?

At 54-years-old, Jeff Jarrett is returning to the squared circle.

While Jarrett has remained active in professional wrestling as the co-host of the popular podcast 'My World', he made his GCW debut at the promotion's 'Die For This' show on New Year's Day and smashed a guitar over EFFY's head.

Jarrett then recently smashed a guitar over Allie Katch's head, EFFY's partner in BUSSY, and EFFY challenged JJ to a match as a result, calling him a "clout vampire."

The match was then made official by GCW and Jarrett will go one on one with EFFY at The Wrld on GCW inside the Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday, January 23.

Sunday will be Jarrett's first match in almost three years. He hasn't stepped inside the ring since he lost to Dr. Wagner Jr. at a SoCal Pro Wrestling show in April 2019.

Jarrett had joined WWE as a producer earlier that year but he was released by the company in April of 2021 as part of budget cuts.
