Jeff Jarrett Will Wrestle First Match On WWE Raw In 20 Years Monday

J-E-Double-F returns to the Raw ring...

At one time, it was unfathomable that Jeff Jarrett would ever do business with WWE again, based on his acrimonious 1999 exit from the company. The announcement that Jarrett would enter WWE's Hall of Fame in 2018 stunned many, and his continued re-association with WWE still feels surreal, as does the fact that Jarrett has been rehired by the company as a producer.

After appearing in the 2019 men's Royal Rumble match as the number two entrant, Jarrett popped up once more on Raw the following night, and was assaulted in both instances by Elias.

For the first time since 27 September 1999, Jarrett will be taking part in an actual match on WWE Raw, going one-on-one with Elias.

The prior match in question was an unusual one that saw Jarrett and Dr. Tom Prichard lose to Chyna and Debra, in what amounted to an angle that set up Jarrett's IC title defense against Chyna at the forthcoming No Mercy pay-per-view.

Also confirmed for Raw on Monday are IC Champion Bobby Lashley facing Finn Balor in a non-title match, a Women's Tag Team title Elimination Chamber qualifier pitting Sasha Banks and Bayley against Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross, and an announcement from Kurt Angle regarding his future.
