Jesse Ventura Confirms He Will Be At WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura has confirmed he will be at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25.

Some wondered whether the WWE Hall of Famer would be on the show after it was announced that Hulk Hogan was set to appear due to historical bad blood between the two, but Ventura took to X/Twitter to confirm he would be at the show:

“So very excited for Saturday Night's Main Event this weekend in San Antonio. The Body returns to Texas this Saturday Night!”

Ventura performed commentary duties on the return episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event on December, stepping back into the booth like he did during his legendary run with Gorilla Monsoon during the Rock & Wrestling era of the mid-1980s.

Many long-time fans never expected to see Ventura back in WWE in a regular capacity due to his past disagreements with Hogan - with Hogan confirming he was the one who curtailed Ventura’s efforts to form a pro-wrestlers union - as well as Ventura’s tumultuous relationship with the company itself, primarily stemming from a court case in the 1990s over unpaid VHS royalties which Ventura won against the WWE.
