Another talent is set to be called up to the WWE main roster, with it being announced on the December 22 edition of Monday Night Raw that Je'Von Evans is a "soon-to-be free agent from NXT."

A segment aired later in the show, during which Raw GM Adam Pearce said he wanted to discuss Evans' future following his match with Rayo Americano, which means the company will carry out another storyline of Raw and SmackDown battling for an NXT call-up.

Je'Von Evans has been making appearances on the main roster for the past several months across both SmackDown and Raw. He was part of the Last Time is Now tournament, losing to Gunther, while Evans also teamed with TNA's Leon Slater to take on AJ Styles and Dragon Lee on the December 13 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. Evans ultimately won his match against Rayo Americano on Raw.

Evans has been a part of WWE since late 2023, and he has cemented himself as one of the top stars on NXT. The 21-year-old remains locked in a feud with Ricky Saints on the Tuesday night show after the former Ricky Starks cost Evans the NXT Title.

Another main roster call-up will see Trick Williams move on from NXT. The former TNA World Champion will reportedly be a part of SmackDown.
