Jim Ross' AEW Contract Expiring Soon

What next for JR?

Jim Ross has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since April 2019 when he signed a three-year deal with the promotion and that contract is set to expire soon, the 70-year-old revealed while speaking to JMart and Ramon.

"[AEW is] in a really cool spot, especially a guy like me. My contract is up soon. I'm not looking to go anywhere, but nonetheless, I'm 70. I have to be realistic at some point in my crazy ass life. I haven't been. My late wife would say, 'Amen to that. He's a character.' I'm loving what I'm doing. It's still fun for me. As long as you keep that element in the place of work, you're alright and doing good," JR said.

Ross has been a commentator on AEW Dynamite and pay-per-views since the promotion's inaugural show Double Or Nothing 2019. He is joined at the announce table by Excalibur and Tony Schiavone.

JR has been a part of professional wrestling since 1974 and he has been a commentator for much of that time, having worked for Mid-South Wrestling, WCW, WWE and New Japan Pro-Wrestling over the years.
