Jim Ross Thinks Edge To AEW Is 'A Long Shot'

Jim Ross doesn't think it likely that Edge to AEW will happen

With the news of Edge’s WWE contract expiring, it has led to talk and even suggestions that he may be AEW bound within the new future. Edge revealed that he remained unsure of what his future holds, but an AEW move to be alongside his best friend Christian Cage for one last run could well be an option.

Someone who doesn’t think this is a likely scenario is AEW personality and wrestling legend Jim Ross, who revealed on his Grillin’ JR podcast that he thinks it is a long shot.

“I don't have any inside information, I don't know if it's even feasible. I have heard, through the grapevine, that WWE has an offer on the table for him that is significant, as it should be. I don't know. I think it would be a long shot at very best that Edge comes to work at AEW.”

Ross would discuss potential dream opponents for Edge in AEW, pulling out names such as Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay as money-making matches, but despite this excitement he stated that he didn’t hear Edge’s name mentioned once around All In weekend.
