Could Sean "X-Pac" Waltman turn up in All Elite Wrestling? Commentator Jim Ross wants it to happen.

Waltman hasn't performed inside the squared circle since WrestleCon 2019 but he is set to return to the ring later this month in Game Changer Wrestling for a tag team match with Joey Janela against Matt Cardona and Brian Myers.

The match was booked after Waltman made the save for Janela at The World On GCW pay-per-view from the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Speaking about the event on Grilling JR, Jim Ross admitted he would love to see X-Pac have a big match in AEW.

"He looks like he's in really good shape. I knew he'd be in good shape because he's gotten back in that workout mode and Sean's just a natural talent. He has great skills and timing and all of those things. He didn't lose all of that, he just had to get his mind right and his body right and attack," JR began.

"I think that's what Sean is doing, I'd love to see him have a big match in AEW somewhere down the road. It would be fun for me, I'm not speaking for Tony Khan, I don't know where they are on all that stuff, I don't get involved in that, thank god."

Waltman has been trying to return to the ring in recent years and he announced in late 2020 that he had been cleared to wrestle after undergoing knee surgery earlier in the year.
