Jimmy Uso Out 6 To 9 Months With Knee Injury

The tag team star could be out until 2021...

Jimmy Uso is expected to be out of action for quite some time after sustaining a knee injury, believed to have been suffered during the triple threat ladder match at WrestleMania 36.

Ringside News first reported, with Dave Meltzer later corroborating, that Uso is expected to miss six to nine months of action.

The exact nature of the injury has not been disclosed, though Uso is expected to undergo surgery.

Aside from twin brother Jey's participation in his own triple threat match on the April 17 edition of SmackDown, the Usos have not otherwise been in action in recent weeks.

It's not clear at this time whether or not Jey will continue to wrestle in the apparently-lengthy absence of his brother.

Jimmy returned to action along with Jey on SmackDown earlier in 2020, after missing close to six months of action, following Jimmy's arrest for a DUI last July. Upon their return, they joined up with Roman Reigns in his rivalry with King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode throughout January.
