Kevin Owens Currently Dealing With Ankle Injury

He's been absent since WrestleMania week...

Kevin Owens hasn't been all that visible since his defeat of Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 36, and we have a little window into why.

In an interview with Canadian network RDS, Owens revealed a pair of reasons why he hasn't been seen on Raw as of late, one of which is related to injury.

Owens revealed that he suffered an injury to his ankle during the match with Rollins, potentially a fracture or sprain. The former Universal champion indicated that he was set to undergo X-rays to determine the severity of the injury.

But injuries aside, Owens has opted to remain at home with his wife and children, due more to the ongoing pandemic, as opposed to traveling to Florida to take part in Raw's TV tapings.

"The great thing about WWE is that it doesn't require us to be there if we don't want to," Owens said. "This is also why in the last two weeks I have not been present because I preferred to be at home with my family."
