Zack Ryder Says He And Curt Hawkins Will Not Be Teaming Going Forward

The Major Bros will go their separate ways...

Matt Cardona, the man formerly known as Zack Ryder, was part of the massive wave of talent releases that occurred on or around April 15. The release brought to an end a 13-year run with the promotion that was filled with both glories and frustrations alike.

A free man for the first time since 2007, Cardona hosted a live Q&A session on Instagram, fielding various fan inquiries. Among them, Cardona was asked if he was still going to team with Brian Myers, the former Curt Hawkins, who was released on the same day.

Cardona responded, "So Brian and I talked about this. We are not teaming. We are not teaming anywhere unless...one of the things we want to do is we do the Major Wrestling Figure live podcasts, but we'd like to put on live wrestling shows. I would love to team with him in that environment or I'd love to wrestle like the Rock N' Roll Express or the Headbangers. But other than that, we're going our own separate ways.”
