Jinder Mahal (Raj Dhesi) Makes Surprise Debut In GCW
Jinder Mahal has arrived in Game Changer Wrestling
Jul 20, 2024
Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal was released from the company earlier this year, and has since repackaged himself as Raj Desi, with the intention to continue wrestling elsewhere. Last night, he made a surprise appearance at GCW’s Friday Night’s So High event.
Following numerous travel issues caused by the global IT outage in which the likes of Joey Janela, Max Caster, Masha Slamovich, and Danhausen were unable to appear at the show, fans at least got to see the surprise debut of Mahal.
Following a tag team match which saw Effy & Cole Radrick take on The Rejects, a masked Mahal made his presence known, hitting the ring and attacking Effy with his Khallas finishing move. He would remove his mask to reveal himself, though given his size and finisher, many in the crowd had figured out who the mystery man was already.
Mahal is scheduled for several upcoming dates in the likes of AAA and independent promotions, with him notably set to team with Satnam Singh to battle for the AAA Tag Team Titles. Mahal recently revealed scrapped plans for a Punjabi Prison match with Roman Reigns in WWE, in addition to revealing the story behind THAT promo on Shinsuke Nakamura.
