During the Speaking Out movement, an anonymous female wrestler accused Joe Coffey of sexually assaulting her and sending unsolicited pictures of his penis. Coffey was suspended by WWE following the allegations and hadn't appeared on NXT UK since the brand returned in September.
WWE announced during a vignette on last night's episode of NXT UK that the Leader of Gallus will be returning "soon." The vignette showed Coffey training to get back in the ring and he declared he was going to bring more gold to the faction.
Which title Coffey intends to go after remains to be seen. He has twice failed to win the NXT United Kingdom Championship at TakeOver events and his stablemates Wolfgang and Mark Coffey currently hold the NXT UK Tag Team Title.
Jordan Devlin will also be returning to the ring soon. It was announced on last night's show that The Irish Ace will be back in action next week, following his promo on October 15. Devlin also had allegations levelled against him during the Speaking Out movement and was accused of physical abuse. The NXT Cruiserweight Champion later said the allegation was false and was part of a "malicious personal agenda" against him.
