Joe Hendry Wins IMPACT Digital Media Championship

Joe Hendry lands his first piece of IMPACT gold

I believe in Joe Hendry, and so does IMPACT Wrestling as the ‘Prestigious One’ landed his first piece of IMPACT gold, defeating Brian Myers for the Digital Media Championship on the November 10 edition of IMPACT Wrestling.

This was Hendry’s first title shot in his IMPACT career, with the former ‘Local Hero’ getting the win after reversing a Myers Spear into a one-armed spinebuster for the three. It didn’t always look like it was going to be plain sailing for Hendry as Myers’ Major Players partner Matt Cardona tried to run interference, but was chased away by IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Rhino and Heath, giving Hendry a fair fight.

With this win, Hendry ends Myers’ reign at the 113-day mark, with the title change having been recorded on October 22. Hendry also goes down as the fifth champion in the title’s lineage, following in the footsteps of Jordynne Grace, Matt Cardona, Rich Swann, and Brian Myers.

Wave your hands from side to side in celebration of the new champion.
