While Marko Stunt was initially a regular in All Elite Wrestling, appearing alongside Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus as part of Jurassic Express, Mr Fun Size hasn't been on AEW TV since September of 2021 and he hasn't wrestled for the promotion since an early October episode of Dark: Elevation.

Stunt also announced in January of 2022 that he was open to independent wrestling bookings shortly after it emerged his AEW contract was close to expiring.

Instead of being told AEW had no plans to utilise him, though, the promotion appear to have just stopped communicating with Stunt.

Speaking about possibly having heat in AEW on Instinct Culture with Denise Salcedo, Joey Janela admitted the promotion "don't communicate" with him and they "just stopped talking" to Marko Stunt.

"I've had times where I've injured people of course, everyone has. But once you get that reputation, it's hard to break that. I've had a string of bad luck throughout my AEW career and that may have been the straw that broke the camel's back but I don't know because they don't communicate with me. They did the same thing to Marko Stunt. They just stopped talking to him," Janela said.

"But I appreciate them, but if you have talent relations, I know Christopher Daniels would love nothing more than to tell me I am no longer with the company. But it is what it is. I am not sad, I am not mad, I am not mad at anyone, I had a wonderful experience."

During Stunt's absence from AEW TV, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus have seemingly moved on with Christian Cage as their manager at ringside. Stunt, meanwhile, has taken indy bookings and he teamed with Joey Janela at a GCW show in February.
