John Cena To Appear On Grayson Waller Effect Next Week

John Cena is set to be on WWE SmackDown every week from now through October, and the manner of his next appearance on the blue brand has been announced by WWE. 

He will be a guest on the Grayson Waller Effect talk show, which is sure to be tense given that Cena and Waller came to blows a few months back at the Money in the Bank 2023 premium live event. Cena made a shocking return to WWE to endorse London as a potential WrestleMania host, only to be interrupted by Waller. After some back and forths, Cena laid out Waller with an AA to end the segment. 

What Cena’s next steps are in terms of a feud is unclear, as this could well set up a Cena vs. Waller programme or continue the pre-existing issues between him and The Miz, whose problems were reignited when Cena acted as the special guest referee for The Miz vs. LA Knight match at Payback. Miz followed this up by attacking an invisible Cena on Raw this past week.
