Velvet Sky Reveals That She Is Leaving The NWA

Back in 2021, Velvet Sky became a commentator for the National Wrestling Alliance, but she has now revealed that she is no longer with the company, announcing that the two sides are parting ways. 

On social media, Sky made the statement which announced her departure. 

“Going forward, I will no longer be a part of the NWA. I wanna thank Billy for the opportunity, & thank you to each person I worked with as it was so much fun & I learned so much from Joe & Tim on commentary. I wish the NWA my best with everything. See you all down the road.”

Sky will be at the special 1000th episode of IMPACT Wrestling in a ringside managerial capacity for the all-star tag team match which sees Angelina Love, Deonna Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans, and a mystery partner go up against IMPACT Knockouts Champion Trinity, Jordynne Grace, Awesome Kong, Gail Kim, and a mystery partner. Sky was a big part of TNA as a part of the Beautiful People team, which is why she will be ringside for Angelina Love. 

With her not competing in the ring since all the way back in 2017, it isn’t entirely clear what she will be doing next.
