John Cena To Produce & Narrate New Peacock Series 'WWE Evil'

The show will look at "the most diabolical antagonists in WWE history"

John Cena is returning to WWE, sort of.

NBCUniversal announced today that the 16-time world champion will produce and narrate a new WWE series on Peacock named 'WWE Evil.' The new show was also created by Cena.

The series will centre on past WWE heels and the show has been billed as "an entertaining 'psychological expose' into the minds of the most diabolical antagonists in WWE history, and their impact on mainstream culture." Who will be covered in the new show has yet to be revealed.

Following the announcement, Cena tweeted: "For every good guy, there has to be a bad one and @WWE has created some of the BEST bad guys (and ladies) in the history of entertainment. Excited to highlight those who made us boo, scream, and sometimes cry! WWE Evil on @peacockTV!"

The Doctor of Thuganomics last stepped inside a WWE ring back at WrestleMania 36 when he faced Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Funhouse match. Cena has been focussing on other projects since then and he missed WrestleMania 37 this year due to his starring role in the new Peacemaker series.
