John Hennigan Reveals He Was Originally Asked To Fight Matt Cardona At Creator Clash 2
Broski said 'no way'
John Hennigan recently made his boxing debut, beating Harley Morenstein (via TKO in round five of their fight) at Creator Clash 2.
According to Hennigan, the Epic Meal Time host was not the only opponent originally suggested to him.
Speaking with TMZ Sports, Hennigan revealed the Creator Clash organisers asked him if he wanted to fight none other than Matt Cardona, saying:
"They asked me would I be willing to fight Harley or Matt Cardona, and I asked him if he wanted to fight. He goes like, 'Bro, I'm not going to fight anyone, and I'm definitely not going fight you. No, bro, are you crazy? No, I'm not going to fight'. But literally, he was like my first phone call they wanted me to fight broski".
Hennigan was accompanied by an entourage of famous wrestling personalities for his fight, including 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan, LA Knight, Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, his wife Taya Valkyrie and others.
Though a scrap with Cardona may be off the table, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion is open to another fight and called out KSI after his victory over Morenstein.
