Jon Moxley Appears At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15

The Death Rider is ready for KENTA...

New Japan Pro-Wrestling returned to the Tokyo Dome earlier today for Wrestle Kingdom 15. The show featured two match of the year candidates in Kota Ibushi vs. Tetsuya Naito and Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay and featured multiple title changes.

Wrestle Kingdom also featured the return of Jon Moxley. The Death Rider did not appear in person inside the Tokyo Dome, but in a pre-taped promo ahead of KENTA vs. Satoshi Kojima for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Right To Challenge Contract.

Moxley declared that the wrestlers fighting for the Right To Challenge Contract all hoped he would never return, but he's the boogeyman and will "get you eventually." He then said he was coming for whoever held the contract after January 4.

With KENTA's win over Satoshi Kojima, the former GHC Heavyweight Champion will face Moxley at some point in the future.

The Maestro Of Mayhem's promo was his first appearance in NJPW since The New Beginning In Osaka on February 9, 2020, when he successfully defended the IWGP United States Heavyweight Title against Minoru Suzuki. He hasn't returned to the promotion because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
