Jon Moxley Comments On WWE Pairing Roman Reigns With Paul Heyman

The former Shield member is a fan of the partnership...

Since his return at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns has been paired with Paul Heyman. Brock Lesnar's former advocate had been left without a role in the company after he was fired as Executive Director of Raw and The Beast Incarnate's WWE contract expired, but The Big Dog brought him back from obscurity. Heyman will now serve as Reigns' special counsel, taking inspiration from the High Chief Peter Maivia character.

The Reigns-Heyman partnership has been praised by fans so far. Another fan of the pairing is the Universal Champion's former Shield brother Jon Moxley who recently told SunSport he thought it was "very cool."

The AEW World Champion said: "The concept of him and Paul Heyman - that was very cool to me. I think that's gonna work out really good. All my friends there (WWE) I wanna turn the TV on and I wanna see them kicking ass and doing great."

WWE reportedly wants the relationship between CM Punk's former manager and Reigns to be as different as possible from Heyman's time with Lesnar. While it was well established that Heyman and The Beast were friends going back to 2002, there will be no friendship between Roman and his special counsel and The Big Dog will be in complete control of their partnership.
