Report: WWE Superstars Think RETRIBUTION's New Names Are "Ridiculous"

RETRIBUTION opened Monday's episode of Raw and fans finally got their first proper look at the group as the five members made their way to the ring in masks which appeared to be inspired by Mad Max and Bane. The faction revealed they had all signed WWE contracts and it was later revealed the three men had been renamed Slapjack (Shane Thorne), Mace (Dio Maddin) and T-Bar (Dominik Dijakovic).

Fans were not impressed by the stable's unveiling and the presentation of the group was reportedly met with laughter backstage.

Fightful Select reached out to four WWE Superstars following the unveiling and they all admitted they thought T-Bar, Mace and Slapjack were "ridiculous" names. One top wrestler said: "It sounds like something out of a bad movie or game, but I'm not sure Vince plays games or watches movies anymore."

What WWE has planned for RETRIBUTION remains to be seen, but according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the company has earmarked the faction for the main event of Survivor Series.
