Jon Moxley Confronts New GCW Champion Nick Gage

The two have certainly crossed paths before

Jon Moxley and Nick Gage have a history that goes back over ten years, and on Friday night, the two deathmatch warriors crossed paths once more.

Gage won the GCW championship from Rickey Shane Page in the main event of GCW rSpring Break on Friday night, following a piledriver through glass panes, and then a Chokebreaker.

Moments later, he was confronted by Moxley, who met him face to face. Moxley went to leave, but after Gage flipped him off, Moxley responded by giving him the Paradigm Shift onto some light bulb tubes.

Gage recovered enough to call Moxley out to end the show.

Moxley and Gage battled each other in the days before Moxley signed with WWE. The two exchanged the CZW championship back in 2010, and have faced off in several deathmatch-style bouts.

Moxley worked Thursday night's Bloodsport event (also under the GCW umbrella), losing to Josh Barnett in a match that had been delayed due to the pandemic.

Gage will be the subject of a Dark Side of the Ring episode in the upcoming third season.
