Jon Moxley Vs Joey Janela For AEW Fyter Fest Now A Non-Sanctioned Match

This might get a little messy...

AEW Fyter Fest takes place on Saturday evening, live from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, FL. On the card, Jon Moxley makes his awaited in-ring debut for the promotion, battling a fellow purveyor of violence in "The Bad Boy" Joey Janela.

The match will be in line with Moxley and Janela's cultivated legacies as boundless, risk-taking brawlers. Per an announcement made in a recent AEW video, the match between the two for Saturday night is now going to be a non-sanctioned match.

The text that opened the video read, "Due to both competitors' propensity for violence and the statements coming from both camps, AEW has decided to strip this match of all rules. This is a non-sanctioned match."

Janela previously took part in the 21-man Casino Battle Royal that preceded Double or Nothing, last month in Las Vegas. Memorably, he had a lit cigarette stapled to his forehead by Jimmy Havoc, and later took a horrific bump through a table outside the ring, at the hands of Luchasaurus.
