Josh Alexander Names AJ Styles As His Dream IMPACT Wrestling Opponent

Josh Alexander would love to wrestle AJ Styles in IMPACT Wrestling

Josh Alexander is currently arguably IMPACT’s best in-ring performer, with the longest reigning IMPACT World Champion recently recognised for his successful 2022 run with a spot in the top 10 of the PWI 500.

Whilst Alexander stands as one of IMPACT’s leading lights, ‘The Walking Weapon’ revealed in an interview with DailyDDT Fansided that he’d like to wrestle IMPACT/TNA’s most celebrated son AJ Styles in an IMPACT ring:

“If I could manifest anything that is possible to happen, my number one would be Kurt Angle, but I think those days are long gone,” Alexander said. “I’m going to go with, somewhere down the road in the next couple of years if it is possible, Josh Alexander headlining Bound for Glory or Slammiversary versus AJ Styles, a man synonymous with the first 10 to 15 years of IMPACT Wrestling in general. The two figureheads of the two different eras I think would be a hell of a matchup.”

AJ Styles’ run in TNA from 2002 to 2014 helped put the company on the map, with Styles' work in the X Division and the main event scene seeing him heralded as one of the best wrestlers in the world.
