Josh Alexander Returns At IMPACT Slammiversary 2023

Josh Alexander is back!

A familiar face made a triumphant return to IMPACT Wrestling last night at the 2023 Slammiversary event. Former IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander emerged following the main event of the PPV in which the current champion Alex Shelley managed to outlast Nick Aldis and all his cheating shenanigans to retain his title.

Alexander came out to a huge reaction, facing off with Shelley and announcing that he was back. It has been a good four months since Alexander was last seen on our screens, being forced into relinquishing the IMPACT World Championship back in March after suffering from torn triceps injury that required him to undergo surgery, rendering him unable to compete for the foreseeable future.

This led to Steve Maclin picking up the vacant gold before Alex Shelley went on to win the belt. Alexander’s return came sooner than expected, though a probable bout with Shelley hasn’t been announced as of yet, so it could still be a wait until Alexander’s in-ring return takes place.
