Josh Alexander Reveals Feelings About TNA Extending His Contract

Josh Alexander has commented on TNA Wrestling extending his deal

It was revealed last month that TNA Wrestling’s Josh Alexander had an expiring deal and had in fact intended to leave the company, but the promotion activated an extension clause, keeping him locked in for the time being. Although he did ask TNA to not renew his contract, he will now remain in TNA Wrestling until 2025, though it was revealed by Alexander himself that this did not cause any issues and the relationship between the two sides was still good.

Alexander hasn’t been silent about this situation, and he also spoke to Fightful Select regarding his next year in TNA Wrestling and his thoughts on remaining with the promotion.

When speaking to Fightful Select, Alexander would confirm the reports of him wanting to leave TNA and explore his options. Alexander did admit that he had no issue with Anthem (TNA’s parent company) exercising their right to extend his deal, and that he was fully aware that this was an option when he put pen to paper two years back.

Alexander went on to reiterate his happiness in TNA, and he is over the moon that the rebranded version of TNA is back, after the company recently underwent the change from IMPACT Wrestling to TNA Wrestling. He hasn’t closed the door on remaining with TNA, noting that there is a chance that he remains with the company past February 2025 if the two sides come to a new deal. Alexander will be competing at the upcoming Sacrifice PLE, taking on the newly signed Alex Hammerstone.
