Julia Hart Comments On Malakai Black Ahead Of Potential AEW Exit

It has been reported over the last couple of days that Malakai Black is expected to be finishing up with AEW ahead of the expiration of his contract, which is believed to be around February or March of this year. Reports have suggested that WWE are believed to be wanting to swoop in and sign Black, bringing him back to the promotion for the first time since his 2021 release. 

Black will be leaving behind the House Of Black faction in AEW that currently holds Brody King, Buddy Matthews and former TBS Champion Julia Hart, who has just made her return to AEW programming. Hart has not been seen alongside the group since coming back, nor has the stable been seen together much at all over the last couple of months. 

Julia Hart spoke with Denise Salcedo and was about Black’s rumoured AEW exit. She offered him all the best, but revealed she doesn’t know the details. 

“He has been such a great rock for me and I appreciate everything he’s ever done with me. The rumours aren’t confirmed or anything, so I don’t know what exactly is going on. Anything could be happening. We don’t know. So, it’s just a matter of fact whatever happens, happens, and I’m happy for him no matter what happens, and I think House of Black will be okay.”

Hart won her return match against Jamie Hayter earlier this month after being out of action since all the way back in April.
