Karrion Kross is out of WWE, and according to Kross himself it is 100% legitimate, with Kross having rejected a new contract offer.

Kross exited WWE upon the expiration of his contract on August 10, with reports noting the exits of Kross and wife Scarlett are legit, although there are some suggestions the situation could be an elaborate work. Appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, Kross noted he was not appearing ‘in character’ and was speaking about his exit as a shoot after turning down a new contract offer from WWE:

“I never actually received a contract offer until last week,” Kross said. “I got the offer. I wanted to know how they came to the valuation of that offer. Just wanted some information, some metrics. When I inquired about that, they were unwilling to provide that information and told me I had 24 hours to agree to the offer or they were rescinding it. So, the next day we talk, I asked if they have the information, they don’t. And I said I can’t make an informed decision without the information and I’d like to keep the dialogue open.”

Pro-Kross signs were recently reportedly confiscated at WWE events, with Kross and Scarlett accepting independent bookings in the wake of their exits. Again reaffirming that the situation was totally genuine, Kross said the following:

“I’m not trying to turn this into a game. It’s not a game for me, it’s my life. I’m very big on loyalty, but loyalty is a two-way street. I’m very interested in trying to recover what I think is easily recoverable, but it takes two people to come together and talk about it. I’m still here.”

Kross added that the goal has always been and remains WWE:

“People don’t want to reach out because they’re not sure if they’re tampering and stuff like that. The goal has always been to be with WWE. My wife and I still want to be with WWE. I’m still at the table for conversations. I did not step out of the conversation,” said Kross.
