Karrion Kross Explains Why He Wears A Mask On WWE Raw

Kross has a helmet now...

Karrion Kross has moved to explain his recent costume additions on WWE Monday Night Raw, discussing his new mask during his entrance.

Since his move up to the WWE main roster, Kross has donned a gladiator-style mask and a Mad Max-esque harness when making his way to the ring for matches, a marked change from his attire that he donned during his time in NXT.

The former NXT Champion appears to have now tried to offer a reason behind the addition to his attire, saying that everyone wears a mask and it could be his new mission to remove his enemy's masks.

Writing on Twitter and his Instagram, Kross said: "We all wear masks. And the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin.

"We understand how dangerous a mask can be. We all become what we pretend to be. Perhaps I intend to expose that...Painfully."

Kross has been a staple on Raw since departing NXT in August, defeating the likes of John Morrison, Jeff Hardy and Keith Lee.
