Karrion Kross Reportedly Secures Lead Role In Action Movie

Kross was released by WWE at the start of the month

The former Karrion Kross is set to become the latest wrestler to cross into acting after reportedly landing a lead role in an upcoming action movie.

Kross - real name Kevin Kesar - has landed a top role in a new action film which is set to begin production in 2022, according to Fightful Select. No other details about the movie project have been confirmed as of yet, such as the director or title of the project, but Kross is set to have a starring role.

The 36-year-old has previous acting experience and starred in a show called Before The Dark a number of years ago.

Kross was released by WWE in early November in the latest round of cuts to the roster, having only been on the main roster since July. The two-time NXT Champion was reportedly in the midst of another character altercation at the time of his release.

Kross isn't the only former WWE talent to be making the move into films, with the former Bray Wyatt also working on a horror movie.
