Keith Lee Confident He Will Eventually Make AEW Return

It has been a year and a half since Keith Lee last competed in an All Elite Wrestling ring, but the ‘Limitless One’ is confident of eventually returning to the company.

Lee has been out of action on medical grounds, but visited AEW tapings in early 2025 when the promotion passed through his home state of Texas. After a fan on X/Twitter wished Lee well, the former AEW World Tag Team Champion responded with the following:

"You have my appreciation. I am quite well! Only time will tell when or where, but I am confident that time will come. Have patience my friend. Lead with Love. Be well."

The nature of Lee’s absence has not been publicly revealed, but Lee did undergo double surgery in early 2024 to correct some issues he’d been living with since 2022.

A former NXT and PWG World Champion, Lee has been ‘All Elite’ since early 2022, with his last match coming at AEW Collision Holiday Bash on December 2023. Lee was originally scheduled to face former tag partner Swerve Strickland at Worlds End in late 2023 but the match was scrapped mere hours before bell time.
