Keith Lee Indicates He Has Been Cleared For AEW Return But Isn't Being Used

Keith Lee has not wrestled in an All Elite Wrestling ring for 18 months, but that could soon change with Lee indicating he has been cleared to return.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion last wrestled in December 2023 but has since been away from the business dealing with undisclosed health issues. Taking to X/Twitter, Lee responded to a fan who asked about his condition, indicating that he has been cleared to return but isn’t currently being used by AEW:

“Again, I am quite fine. It is not up to me when it comes to a return. But blessings to you as well,” posted Lee, responding to further replies stating that Tony Khan needed to be pressured into booking Lee again with the following:



“I've been good for quite some time, though I do appreciate the concern. But no campaign required. Things happen the way they are suppose to, and eventually, the purpose will show itself.”



There’s no word on when Lee was cleared by medical professionals, with reports in late 2024 stating the ‘Limitless One’ was still sidelined awaiting clearance. Reports in Spring 2025 stated that Lee visited AEW TV tapings in Texas, with Lee later stating he was ‘confident’ he’d make his return at some point in time.
