Keith Lee Reveals His New Look Is Inspired By Tekken

Keith Lee on his new look in AEW

Following his return to All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, Keith Lee was spotted donning a long white coat with gold trim during a recent backstage segment on Dynamite with Dustin Rhodes. Some joked the former AEW World Tag Team Champion looked like a priest but Lee confirmed on the Grapsody podcast that Tekken's Leroy Smith was actually the inspiration for the look.

Lee said:

"Umm...you know what? He is actually the number one inspiration behind that top. And that will actually be a style I'll be using going forward because it's very fitting of who I am as a human being in terms of being not average when it comes to the brain, intellect. Even having a spiritual approach to things, not necessarily religion, but when I say spiritual I mean consciousness and things of that sort. So it's a mixture between Mr Leroy - I'm glad that person actually caught it. Most people were like, [does a Southern accent] [calling me] Pastor Keith and all that stuff. Not a church guy, but..."

Leroy Smith is a new character to Tekken, being introduced to the fighting game series as a playable character in Tekken 7. Since his return to AEW, Keith Lee has rekindled his feud with Swerve Strickland and The Mogul Affiliates. He and Dustin Rhodes defeated Strickland and Parker Boudreaux on the March 3 episode of Rampage.
