Tony Khan Provides Update On AEW Fight Forever

Tony Khan on AEW Fight Forever

A release date for AEW Fight Forever was not revealed at the post-Revolution media scrum but AEW CEO Tony Khan did confirm that the video game is finished and is "coming very soon."

"I can't say the exact release date. There are a lot of things that go into that and I don't want to step on anybody. It is coming very soon. It is finished and it has been very, very highly acclaimed. Honestly, a lot of fans have been really looking forward to it for a long time and I'm just so glad that we have a game in place that has been very well received. It went to a festival competition and it is an award-winning game now officially, and we're basically at a place now where it's just officially scheduling that release and all the things that go into it," Khan said.

Recent reports have slated Fight Forever for a Q2 2023 release, which would mean the game hits shelves between April and June. The game was originally set to be released last year but the release date was pushed back while THQ Nordic and AEW tried to secure a Teen rating from the ESRB.

When Fight Forever is released, it will be available on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as Nintendo Switch and PC.
