Kenny Dykstra has reportedly been helping to produce matches for WWE main roster talent, amid speculation that he could receive a full-time call-up from NXT.
Dykstra reportedly re-joined WWE in a trainer and coaching capacity in October, having retired from in-ring action earlier this year, and has been working at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
According to Fightful Select, Dykstra's name was listed as the sole producer for a couple of dark matches that were filmed ahead of SmackDown shows in mid-November. Furthermore, the former WWE Tag Team Champion is also credited as the producer of Main Event matches ahead of a recent Raw, while helping to producing a match on Raw itself.
The suggestion is that Dykstra is being heavily considered for a permanent move to the main roster in a producer role, having seemingly impressed upon his return to WWE last month.
The report notes that the 35-year-old has worked with talent older than himself in The Viking Raiders, producing their recent dark match with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Dykstra has also produced a bout between Cora Jade and Dakota Kai.
