Kenny Omega Amazed He Avoided Serious Injury From V-Trigger Through The Cage

Kenny Omega avoided a serious groin injury on Dynamite

Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega wrote another chapter in their feud on the May 10 edition of AEW Dynamite as the two competitors went one-on-one in a Steel Cage Match.

Along with the expected level of violence, there was a scary moment during the match after Kenny Omega hit a V-Trigger on Moxley to send them crashing through the cage. Moxley landed safely on the outside but Omega ended up hanging from his groin on a steel supporting pole, with many noting after the spot The Best Bout Machine was lucky to avoid serious injury.

Omega ultimately agrees with that sentiment, telling Muscle & Fitness: "I'm still bewildered over how it was that I walked away from that one. I just let it happen and I think, somehow, because nothing was going against the grain, or fighting against this odd happening, I miraculously ended up OK."

The match between Omega and Moxley took place as part of the Blackpool Combat Club vs. The Elite programme. The BCC won their first multi-man clash at Double or Nothing, emerging victorious from Anarchy in the Arena following interference from Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita.
