Kenny Omega Jokes About WWE Hall Of Fame ‘Snub’
The Belt Collector was passed over… AGAIN
AEW World Champion Kenny Omega took to Twitter earlier this morning after the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, unable to believe his luck at being snubbed from the HOF:
“Wait, you mean to tell me I was snubbed again this year? Geez Louise, what’s a guy gotta do around here?”
Obviously Omega was having a little fun with the occasion, his Tweet perfectly befitting his current persona as the Belt Collector of wrestling, and in the words of Don Callis ‘a God’.
If Omega’s 2021 continues as it has started then no hall of fame in the wrestling business will be able to ignore him, and should he beat Rich Swann for the Unified IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship at Rebellion on Sunday April 25, then it will certainly only help Omega’s case.
But don’t get carried away and start an #Omega4hof hashtag. Kenny was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame class of 2020, so he has that to hang his hat upon at the very least.
