Kenny Omega Returns On AEW Dynamite

As expected

To the shock of absolutely nobody, Kenny Omega made his return to AEW on Wednesday night's episode of Dynamite in Charleston, WV.

Omega returned as part of a Trios championship tournament quarterfinal, teaming with The Young Bucks to face La Facción Ingobernable (Andrade el Idolo, Rush, and Dragon Lee). To herald Omega for his return entrance, the Bucks had ring announcer Justin Roberts read an elaborate intro similar to the ones he did for Omega in the past.

Omega was accompanied for his entrance by Don Callis and Michael Nakazawa. For the finish, Omega pinned Lee with the One Winged Angel.

Omega notably wrestled the match wearing a long-sleeve black shirt, and began the match with a sling-type wrap on his shoulder.

The victory advances Omega and the Bucks in the tournament, where they will face the winners of Death Triangle vs. United Empire in the semis.

For Omega, it was his first appearance since November of 2021, after losing the AEW World title to Adam Page at Full Gear in Minneapolis. Omega subsequently took time off to have multiple procedures done to fix a number of injuries.
