Kenny Omega "Very Excited" About Stadium Stampede Mode In AEW: Fight Forever

Kenny Omega speaks about the upcoming mode in AEW: Fight Forever, available via the Battle Pass.

Speaking to Uproxx Sports, Kenny Omega spoke about the upcoming Stadium Stampede mode in the AEW: Fight Forever video game - available via the Battle Pass. The AEW star explained:

“There’s something in particular coming up that, it’s sort of been leaked a little bit, so the Stadium Stampede mode I’m very excited for and I think people are going to have a lot of fun. It’s something so incredibly unique and I think it’s going to be great. The roster, we’re going to add bodies to the roster as well. Custom parts for create a wrestler, all that stuff. I can’t wait to share more announcements with people and to see more of the roster, more match types and see the videos turn up online for how people are enjoying it.”

The new mode looks to be similar to a Battle Royale mode, which have become popular in recent years.

Omega was part of the inaugural Stadium Stampede match, which took place at AEW Double or Nothing 2020 - pitting Omega, Hangman Page, the Young Bucks and Matt Hardy against the Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz.)

So far, there have only been two such matches - which took advantage of empty or reduced arenas during lockdown. The second, at Double or Nothing 2021, saw the Inner Circle take on MJF's Pinnacle stable, also featuring FTR, Wardlow and Shawn Spears.
