Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada facing off at AEW Worlds End 2024

Kenny Omega has returned to All Elite Wrestling, with his first act back in the company presenting the Continental Championship to long-time rival Kazuchika Okada at Worlds End on December 28, 2024.

The moment got a huge reaction, with many fans hoping it would lead to another singles match in their storied rivalry. Well, those fans may be in for a treat if everything goes to plan, with Dave Meltzer reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Omega vs. Okada is the working plan for AEW All In Texas.

Much of the planning hinges on whether Omega can stay injury-free, with the ‘Best Bout Machine’ having just returned from a life-threatening bout of diverticulitis.

Whilst Omega and Okada are not the same men they were when they had their classics in 2017 and 2018, both can still perform at the highest level, with Omega putting on an early match-of-the-year contender with Gabe Kidd at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, whilst Okada’s Continental Classic final match with Will Ospreay at Worlds End earned rave reviews.

AEW All In Texas will emanate from Globe Life Field in Arlington on July 12, 2025. Tickets are available now.
