Kenny Omega Wins AEW International Championship At AEW Revolution 2025

Kenny Omega is the new AEW International champion, after defeating Konosuke Takeshita at AEW Revolution on Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Late in the match, Omega and Takeshita exchanged several major strikes, with Omega landing several V-Triggers, while Takeshita fought back with deep forearm smashes.

After Omega delivered a V-Trigger while Takeshita was laid on the ropes, he attempted the One Winged Angel, which Don Callis tried to prevent by grabbing Takeshita's hands. Omega kicked Callis away, but Takeshita escaped the Angel attempt. The two exchanged several counters, before Omega rolled Takeshita into a crucifix pinning position to win the title.

The win gives Omega his first AEW International championship. He previously held the World and World Tag Team titles once apiece, and the Trios championships on two occasions. The win makes Omega the first person to hold four different belts in AEW.

Takeshita's reign as International champion ends at 148 days. He won the title in a triple threat match against Will Ospreay and Ricochet at AEW WrestleDream on October 12 in Tacoma, WA.
