Kevin Nash Doesn't Think The NWO Would Have Worked With Shawn Michaels & Triple H

Triple H and Shawn Michaels were better as D-Generation X than they would have been in the nWo, according to Kevin Nash.

On a recent edition of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash explained that he doesn't believe Shawn Michaels and Triple H would have particularly worked as part of the New World Order.

Initially consisting of himself, Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall, the nWo became one of the most iconic wrestling stables of all time and helped bolster WCW in the Monday Night Wars - but Nash has stated that Lliq allies HBK and HHH wouldn't necessarily have been a natural fit:

"I think where everybody landed was probably for the best. They [Michaels and Triple H] were too sophomoric to be with Hulk."

Nash is likely referring to the pair's antics in D-Generation X. Michaels would ultimately become a member of the nWo for a short period of time when Vince McMahon brought the stable to WWE in 2002.

HHH and HBK both find themselves in creative positions in modern-day WWE - Triple H heading up creative for the main roster, with Michaels fulfilling a similar role for the NXT brand.
