Konnan: IMPACT Looking To Bring In More AAA Talent
Who could be next to join IMPACT from Mexico?
Lucha legend Konnan recently took to Twitter to post a throwback pic from earlier in his time with IMPACT. The picture featured K-Dogg alongside talents such as The Latin American Xchange (AEW’s Santana and Ortiz) Taya Valkyrie, and The Lucha Brothers amongst others.
A fan replied to Konnan saying that IMPACT needs to bring in more Latin stars, to which Konnan replied:
“there is one now Black Tauros, they are looking at others but they are awaiting their Visas”
Konnan works as a backstage producer for IMPACT, having returned to the company in 2017 after an earlier run from 2003 to 2007, most notably as part of L.A.X.
A former WCW US Champion, Konnan has also had several stints in Mexico’s AAA, at one point being recognised as Mexico’s answer to Hulk Hogan.
As well as his current role in IMPACT, Konnan also works for MLW, and still works for AAA, often acting as a talent liaison between the USA and Mexico.
