Update On Mini Vikingo After Being Pulled From WWE NXT

Mini Vikingo was forced to miss the October 20 episode of WWE NXT due to a legitimate injury, it has been revealed.

Vikingo was scheduled to team with EK Prosper and Chazz Hall against Vanity Project's Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes, and Brad Baylor on Tuesday's NXT but NXT GM Robert Stone announced during the show that Mini Vikingo was not cleared to compete.

PWInsider has reported that Mini Vikingo is dealing with a legitimate elbow issue. There is no word on how long the luchador will be out of action, but he is still officially scheduled to challenge Rey Fenix for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship at Heroes Inmortales on October 24.

Mini Vikingo has been booked by AAA since 2022 and he has continued to wrestle for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide since WWE and Fillip acquired the promotion in 2025.

Vikingo made his WWE NXT debut as part of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, teaming with Chazz Hall. The duo were victorious in the first round, defeating BirthRight' Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors. Vikingo and Hall lost to Vanity Project in the quarter-finals, however.
