Kota Ibushi Addresses Criticism Of AEW Blood & Guts Performance

Kota Ibushi has spoken of his performance in AEW Blood & Guts

Kota Ibushi’s AEW debut inside the two ring cage for Blood & Guts III was only the third time he has wrestled this year, and the third time since October 2021.

Ibushi’s performance in the match was criticised by some despite his lengthy return from injury, and Ibushi himself has addressed his performance, posting the following to Twitter (via Google translate):

“I'm home It's my fault that I didn't know thumbtacks and glass after all this time. I have thin wrestling shoes, so it penetrated and it was just painful from the middle, and I ended up moving like an old man. I'm sorry! Far from being unable to kick, both ankles were stiff. Life with a cane for the first time in my life No, I'll be cured tomorrow! That is Kota Ibushi!”

Ibushi is rumoured to be factored into AEW’s plans for All In on August 27, although nothing has been confirmed. However, it seems like we have not seen the last of Ibushi in an All Elite Wrestling ring, especially if members of the AEW locker room have anything to say about it.
