Kris Statlander has big ambitions for the AEW Women's World Championship.
The Galaxy's Greatest Alien will challenge Britt Baker for the title at All Out on Sunday, and if she wins, Statlander wants to defend the gold every week.
"When I become the champion, I don't think the locker room needs any differences, change. I think I just want - I wanna defend my belt more than most people have in the past. It was always very, like once a month maybe and I wanna be the champion that's defending it every single week. I wanna give that title purpose. I wanna show why I'm the champion week in and week out. That's my one thing that I would do," Statlander said on Women's Wrestling Talk.
AEW has booked regular title defences for TNT Champions since the title's creation in May 2020. Cody Rhodes initially put the gold on the line every week in open challenges during his first reign. Darby Allin then regularly defended the title during his 186-day reign. AEW's other belts, including the women's title, have been defended on a less regular basis, though.
