Kurt Angle: I Have No Regrets About Joining TNA

Angle wrestled in The Impact Zone for 10 years

Although fondly remembered as true WWE legend, an argument can be made that the best years of Kurt Angle’s career were spent wrestling for TNA/IMPACT, with Angle wrestling for TNA for the past part of ten years.

In a special Q&A edition of The Kurt Angle Show podcast with Conrad Thompson, Angle was asked about his move to TNA in 2006, saying:

“Well, it was an adjustment, you know, wrestling in front of a smaller crowd. It was a bit tough. You are spoiled when you are in WWE, you have sold out shows everywhere. TNA was a much smaller company, but it was a great smaller company. They did great ratings on Spike TV. We were doing 2 million viewers a week, we had a good little run. So, I don't regret my decision, but it was difficult at the beginning to adjust to it.”

Angle was positioned as one of if not the top star of TNA during his run, reigning as TNA World Champion on six separate occasions.
