Kurt Angle To Undergo Knee Replacement Surgery

Kurt Angle in need of surgery

Kurt Angle suffered a litany of injuries throughout his in-ring career and The Wrestling Machine will look to get one of his issues fixed next month.

Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast, Angle revealed he will undergo knee replacement surgery soon.

"I'm having my knees replaced next month. Both of them at the same time, I'm getting it over with. I'll be on a wheelchair or a walker," Angle said.

Angle spent 21 years inside the squared circle, primarily wrestling for WWE and TNA until his retirement in 2019. He ended his in-ring career as a multi-time world champion and has since been inducted into both the WWE and IMPACT Wrestling hall of fames.

Since being released by WWE in 2020, Angle has focused on his nutrition business, as well as starting a podcast with Conrad Thompson on AdFreeShows.

Another former wrestler in Raven also recently underwent knee replacement surgery. The 57-year-old was previously a star of ECW, WCW and TNA, although he continued to perform inside the squared circle until 2020, with his last match taking place at a Florida indy show in February of that year.
