Kurt Angle Would Come Out Of Retirement For Saudi Arabia Payday

Kurt Angle would consider one more match if the price was right

Never say never in wrestling. That’s the golden rule, with pretty much every wrestler you can think of coming out of retirement for ‘one more match’, such as Steve Austin at WrestleMania 38, or Shawn Michaels at Crown Jewel 2018.

For Michaels, whilst the match was a critical disaster the payday was not, with HBK rumoured to have been paid around $3 million for his match with Triple H against the Brothers of Destruction in Saudi Arabia. That kind of money could make anyone come out of retirement, with Kurt Angle revealing on the Kurt Angle Show podcast that he’d come out of retirement for a lucrative Saudi payday:

"Well, you know what, I'm not a WWE lifer. Shawn is. his loyalty is still with the WWE, and they paid him very well for it," said Kurt, before being asked if he would come out of retirement for one of WWE’s Saudi Arabia events: "What are you talking about? I would do it in a second. Good knees or bad knees, I would do it in a second."

Angle last wrestled at WrestleMania 35, losing to Baron Corbin.
